Cookie policy

A cookie is a small file your browser keeps to recognise you on the next visit. Below is what this site and the account area actually use, who provides it and what it is for.

The data controller is Morfex S.R.L., registered office at viale San Marco 13/B, 34074 Monfalcone (GO), Italy, VAT and tax code 01289340315. For any question: info@morfex.it.

They make work what you asked for: the sign-in session of the account area (app.omissia.com) and the language you chose for the site. Without them, the sign-in does not last and the language is forgotten. They do not track browsing and they do not go to third parties.

To understand how the site is used (which pages get opened, where visits come from, where they stop) we use Google Analytics 4, provided by Google Ireland Limited. It runs only with your consent, and no counts as much as yes: the site works the same either way.

Until you accept, Google’s script is not even loaded: this is not a tool that starts and then holds back, it is a tool that without your yes never switches on. If you accept, Google receives browsing data for these pages, that is which pages you open, where you came from, your device and browser and your IP address, and writes two cookies in your browser, “_ga” and “_ga_” followed by a code, which hold a random identifier and last up to two years. The data may also be processed outside the European Union, under the standard contractual terms Google applies.

Google Analytics receives nothing from the Omissia program, which has no analytics: what you do on a filing stays on your computer, and this page has nothing to do with that.

We keep proof of your choice, because consent has to be demonstrable (art. 7 GDPR): the date, the version of this page, a random identifier stored in the consent cookie and, only if you accept, your browser’s user agent, the technical line naming the program and system you are using. If you decline, we record nothing about you beyond the no.

The site and the account area are hosted on Vercel. Update delivery (updates.omissia.com) goes through a content delivery network such as Cloudflare.

These providers see what any web server sees: IP address and requests, in their technical logs, to serve the pages and defend them. They do not receive the content of your matters, which never crosses the network.

From the banner on your first visit and, at any time, from the two buttons at the end of this page: withdrawing consent has to be as easy as giving it, so it is the same gesture in reverse. Your browser still works too, and lets you block or delete cookies site by site.

Blocking the technical ones may stop you signing in to your account area; blocking analytics changes nothing you see.
